I think that these types of questions are more valuable than the standard, "Can you use the program?" or "Are you organized?" questions I often hear about.

I have been working on a theroy found at: http://imagefoundry.blogspot.com/2006/11/its-what-you-do-that-defines-you.html called the Circle of Marketing.

The first point I disucss is hiring and what it has to do with marketing. I list suggestions along the lines of your questions that one should consider asking druing an interview to help determine the character of a candidate.

My question is: What do you think about some of the following questions? Do you consider them relevant to hriing?

• How do you spend your free time?
• What have you read recently?
• Do you keep a study journal? Why or Why not?
• Do you write down your goals?
• What are some of your goals?
• How much time do you spend on self-examination?
• Who are your mentors? or Who do you consider your mentors?
• How much time have you dedicated to your field of expertise or this position?
• What does service mean to you and how do you serve others?
• How would your boss describe you?
